The Conservators of Therfield Heath have helped Kew’s Millennium Seed Bank to make a collection of seeds from the nationally important population of Pasque flowers growing on Church Hill.   By fencing in 2015 we will have protected some of the plants from rabbits as they love to graze the flowering heads off and so prevent seed from setting.

Seeds were also collected from other rare flowers from the Heath, notably the wild candy tuft and sweet briar.
